Our story
Teacher A's House of Learning is a learning and developmental support brand established in 2018, dedicated to providing children with meaningful opportunities to learn, grow, and develop their skills — founded by Teacher Alexandria Frances Borromeo-Tating, also known as Teacher A.
In 2026, Teacher A's House of Learning – Laoag City Branch became part of this growing community, bringing its programs and learning approach to children and families in Laoag City and nearby communities.
While we are a franchise, our Laoag branch is personally managed with a strong commitment to creating a warm, supportive, and child-centered environment.
Our goal is simple: to create a place where children feel safe to explore, learn at their own pace, build confidence, and develop skills that matter in everyday life — from academic support and play-based learning to communication and behavioral programs.
To become a trusted second home where every child is supported, understood, and given opportunities to grow.
Not simply to teach a child what to do, but to help them build skills they can carry with them beyond our center.
Our approach
At Teacher A's House of Learning – Laoag City Branch, we believe learning is not about making every child learn in the same way. We take time to understand each learner — their strengths, needs, interests, communication style, and areas where they need support. From there, we create learning experiences that are meaningful, engaging, and appropriate for the child.
We consider each child's individual needs, strengths, interests, and pace.
Our teachers adjust activities, strategies, and levels of assistance based on the learner.
We encourage children to communicate, express their needs, follow instructions, and interact with others.
We use play, movement, real-life experiences, and hands-on activities to make learning meaningful.
Whenever appropriate, we incorporate practical and daily living skills that children can use in everyday situations.
We want children to feel safe, respected, encouraged, and comfortable enough to try — even when something is difficult.

With a passion for children and a strong belief in inclusive learning, I continue to pursue training in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) to better support children with autism and developmental needs.
My goal is to help create a more accepting, supportive, and brighter future for every learner.

ABA and behavioral support for learners who may benefit from this type of intervention, planned around each learner's individual needs.

Pre-school to college subjects · One-on-one
Academic Tutorial provides one-on-one tutoring for each learner, giving them focused attention and support throughout their session.

Structured play that builds real early-learning skills. For group sessions, each learner is assigned a facilitator who provides individual attention, guidance, and support throughout the session.
3 yrs 6 mos and up
Beginner to advanced reading, paired with handwriting and written expression — taught one learner at a time.

Everything here was set up for the way children actually learn — the rooms, the group sizes, and the pace.
Every child is different. We create activities based on each learner's needs, strengths, interests, skills, and goals. Activities are planned weekly and adjusted according to their progress to support their ongoing development.
Academic Tutorial is one-on-one. In group sessions, each learner still has an assigned facilitator to support and attend to them throughout the session.
A sensory and movement area and a playroom / tutorial room, so a therapy session and a homework session never have to happen at the same table.
Children in the ABA and behavioral program learn in the same center as everyone else. Inclusion is the setup, not an add-on.
Laoag City is a branch of Teacher A's House of Learning, a Philippine learning center brand operating since 2018 under Teacher A Training and Development Services.

My daughter has selective mutism, and she has been attending Teacher A's House of Learning for almost two months. Although she is not speaking yet, we have noticed some progress in her confidence and willingness to participate. She has become more comfortable joining activities and is now more confident participating in school performances, such as dancing, and even sports like badminton.
What we appreciate most is how accommodating, patient, and kind her teacher is. My daughter tells us that she doesn't feel pressured there, which is very important for a child with selective mutism. We also appreciate the simple things that make her feel included and seen, such as sharing snacks with her and making her feel that she belongs.

I've noticed that Luna has become more confident especially in speaking — she does storytelling often and she likes to be included in conversations — and independent with her learning.
I really like Teacher Mica's patience and the way she guides and encourages Luna. And the most important thing to me: I can see Teacher Mica's genuine care and guidance, and I appreciate it a lot. I also like the after-class reports with specific observations and activities. Kudos to Teacher A's!
My daughter improves a lot. She becomes independent now. She can already dress by herself, put on her shoes, and she can follow simple instructions.
Teacher A's has a wide space and a well-ventilated place. It is a child-friendly center. The teachers are all nice; they can understand our children. To top it all, all the teachers are smart. They also give us regular updates.
